Pittsburgh Has Significant Severe Weather Threat
Batten down the hatches, folks. The weather likely will get ugly later today.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Be very careful outdoors today. The National Weather Service is predicting the likelihood of severe weather later today.
The primary threat will be damaging wind and large hail. Isolated tornadoes also are possible.
The enhanced risk of storms brings the potential of wind gusts of as high as 75 mph and hail as large as two inches in diameter.
