It's the time of the year when holiday festivities occur on a daily basis. Patch found various ones that you likely will find entertaining
PITTSBURGH, PA —The unfortunate fact is that there is no holiday kick-off parade here to rival the stupendous Macy's Parade in New York City or Philadelphia's awesome holiday parade, both of which occurred on Thanksgiving.
But there are a number of enjoyable local parades and events that foster a sense of community and holiday spirit on a smaller scale.
Here's a look at some of them occurring soon:

Parades
Perhaps the most unique parade around town isn't a parade at all - at least not in the traditional sense. Patch is talking about the Not Your Average Holiday Parade N'At, YaJagoff! parade, which will occur Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot at The Block Northway in Ross.

The event, will feature holiday entertainers, Pittsburgh personalities, stationary floats and Santa Claus. Each parade attraction will be stationed at four stops in the parking lot under sponsored tents.
Santa is scheduled to appear before being whisked away to his wonderland inside The Block Northway where there will be a vendor village to provide opportunities to shop and enter drawings to win prizes.
Q92.9-FM's Erika Jay and Monica will be roving reporters, while YaJagoff!'s Rachael Rennebeck and John Chamberlin will provide colorful play-by-play from the back of a pick-up truck. The event will be live-streamed on YaJagoff! and the Q92 Facebook pages.
