Pittsburgh's July 4th Fireworks And Festivities 2018
Here's your Patch guide to Independence Day fun and fireworks in southwestern Pennsylvania.

PITTSBURGH, PA - What would a Fourth of July celebration be without fireworks?
In Pittsburgh, people once again will pack Point State Park for the EQT Flashes of Freedom Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. The display will cap off a day of festivities at the park that will include live musical acts, food vendors and a kids zone featuring patriotic crafts, face painting, interactive activities, caricature drawings and Amber’s Amazing Animal Balloons from 4 to 8 p.m.
The musical headliner will be Munhall's Gabby Barrett, who came close to winning it all on the final season of "American Idol." she'll perform on the main stage at Point State Park from 8 p.m. until the fireworks begin. at 9:35 p.m. Fans can expect to hear new singles such as "Jesus and My Mama," "My Church" and "Good Girl."

Across the Allegheny River from the park, the free 17th annual July 4 celebration at Heinz Field will include musical performers, food vendors peddling wares such as funnel cakes and lemonade and Miller Beer stands throughout the event area.
There also will be a display at Kennywood at 9:30 p.m. as part of the West Mifflin amusement park’s annual Celebrate America event, as well as in these communities:

- Crafton: Dusk at Crafton Park
- Dormont: Dusk at Dormont Park
- Findlay Township: 9:30 p.m. (July 3) at the Sports and Rec Center
- Hampton Township: 9 p.m. (July 3) at the Community Center, upper orchard.
- Leetsdale: Dusk at Quaker Valley High School
- McDonald: Dusk (July 3) at Heritage Park.
- McKeesport: Following the end of a concert at 9 p.m. at Renziehausen Park.
- Monroeville: 9:30 p.m. at the Monroeville Mall annex.
- Moon Township: Night at Moon Park.
- Mt. Lebanon: 9:30 p.m. at Mt. Lebanon Park.
- Robinson Township: Dusk at Burkett Sports and Recreation Complex.
- Scott Township: 9:31 p.m. at Scott Park.
- South Fayette: 9:30 p.m. at Fairview Park.
- Shaler Township: 9:45 p.m. at Kiwanis Park.
- Tarentum: 10 p.m. (July 3) at Dreshar Stadium.
- Upper St. Clair: 9:30 p.m. at Fairview Park (best local viewing at Boyce Mayview Park).
