PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has ordered the closure of Da Village Social Club/ Missionz Hookah Lounge, on Greenway Drive in the city's West End, for numerous health code violations.
A recent inspection found evidence of vomit and fecal matter present in the men's restroom, including in the commode and both handwashing sinks.
The women's restroom found to be backed up.

A mattress and a bed frame were found in the kitchen area. Evidence of smoking was found there as well.
The lounge also was found to be operating without a valid health permit.

A "closed" placard is posted at an establishment when an imminent health hazard is identified at a restaurant or kitchen or if it has been operating without proper permits.
It is unlawful to operate a food facility with a "closed" placard.
