Pittsburgh Mobile Food Truck Owners Opening New Restaurant

A Pittsburgh mobile food truck operation is expanding into a brick-and-mortar location this spring.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A food truck operation in the Pittsburgh area has proven so successful that the husband-and-wife team that runs it is preparing to open a brick-and-mortar location soon.

Carlos and Collyn Milanes, the owners of Milanes Mobile, will open Milanes Cuban Corner in the spring. The restaurant will be located at 112 Chartiers Avenue in the McKees Rocks Plaza.

The couple announced the move this week in a video on social media.

The restaurant is expected to maintain many of the food truck's mainstay offerings. Those include beef and chorizo empanadas, Cuban sandwiches, big papas (french fries topped with queso blanco and picadillo seasoned ground beef), completas and chicken tenders.
