Pittsburgh Museum To Host Nudist Art Tour

There's no need to worry about getting dressed up for this upcoming event.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh nudists next month can get out of their clothes and get into a local museum's art exhibits.

The Mattress Factory museum on the North Side is hosting a Pittsburgh Area Naturists nude art tour on Friday Nov. 10. A series of 90-minute tours in the buff begins at 6:30 p.m.

"Whether you're an art enthusiast or simply curious about pushing boundaries, the nude art tour at the Mattress Factory Museum promises to be an unforgettable experience," the naturists group stated in an online post. "Don't miss out on this opportunity to engage with daring and thought-provoking artworks that challenge societal norms."

The question that immediately comes to mind regarding the event is this: Will there be catered appetizers? The answer thankfully is yes.

It's also BYOB, so nudists are welcome to bring their own beer or wine.

The naturists caution that a professional photographer will be in attendance. But if you're shy - and if your parading naked around a museum, you probably are not - you can obtain a wristband at the door to indicate you do not want to be photographed.

Thankfully, wristbands do not count as clothing.
