Pittsburgh Named 2019 Food City Of The Year In New Report

Pittsburgh's dining scene continues to draw national notoriety.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The accolades for fine dining options in southwestern Pennsylvania continue. Pittsburgh has been named the 2019 Food City of the Year” in a new report.

The city received the designation in the 2019 Hospitality Report by af&co, a San Francisco-based restaurant and hospitality consulting firm.

“There’s no shortage of innovation in Pittsburgh,” the report stated. “With a booming tech scene, restaurants are also getting in on the action by pushing the boundaries while keeping food approachable. With the city’s proximity to farms, it’s no surprise the local food scene is flourishing.”
