Pittsburgh Nation's 4th Best Winter Travel Destination: Study

PITTSBURGH, PA - Pittsburgh may lack the ski slopes found in Vail, Colarado, but a new study says the city isn’t lacking at all as a winter tourist destination.

Financial data site WalletHub rated Pittsburgh the nation’s fourth-best holiday place to visit, based on cost and convenience. WalletHub analysts compared 130 of the most country’s most heavily populated metropolitan statistical areas in terms of travel costs and convenience, costs in destination, attractions, weather, activities and safety.
