Pittsburgh Native Joe Manganiello, Sofia Vergara Divorcing

PITTSBURGH, PA — Pittsburgh native Joe Manganiello and his wife, "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara, are getting divorced after seven years of marriage.

The couple revealed this in a statement to Page Six:

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

Manganiello, 46, grew up in Mt. Lebanon, and attended Carnegie Mellon University. His professional film debut in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man." He also is known for playing the werewolf Alcide Herveaux in the HBO series "True Blood."
