PA Native Killed In Accident Hours After College Graduation
Ian Brunner died in a tragic accident shortly after receiving his diploma from the University of Dayton.
DAYTON, OH — A Pittsburgh native died Sunday just hours after graduating from the University of Dayton.
Ian Brunner, 22, who had just received his mechanical engineering degree, died when his car fell on top of him. A jack apparently collapsed.
Police and medics responded Sunday evening to reports of a man trapped under a vehicle, the Dayton Daily News reported. Brunner was pronounced dead at the scene.

“We extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to Ian’s family, friends, faculty, staff and our entire campus community,” the university said in a statement.
Funeral arrangements were not immediately available.
