Pittsburgh Nightclub Shut Down For Ignoring COVID-19 Regulations
The Allegheny County Health Department has closed a popular Pittsburgh nightclub for ignoring state and county coronavirus mandates.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has shut down another city nightclub for ignoring various state and county coronavirus mitigation mandates. Cosmo on Carson on East Carson Street in the South Side must remain closed for at least seven days.
An inspection Friday night after several complaints were received about the club revealed:
- Not all staff had masks on as required.
- The majority of patrons were not wearing masks.
- A majority of the patrons were not seated.
- Patrons were using a hallway as a dance floor.
- Zero social distancing was observed between patrons.
- No food was observed on the patrons’ tables.
The inspector found the above conditions constituted "an imminent health hazard."
