Pittsburgh Pizza Chain To Compete In International Competition

PITTSBURGH, PA — Championship-winning Pittsburgh-based Caliente Pizza & Draft House is gearing up for the 40th Annual International Pizza Expo taking place next week in Las Vegas.
The prestigious event is the pizza industry's largest annual gathering.
“This is our 9th year going to the Las Vegas Pizza Expo to compete,” Caliente owner Nick Bogacz told Patch. “We’re looking forward to our best year yet.”

Caliente has won three world championship titles, including the best pan pizza in the world award for its Quack Attack duck pizza at the Expo in 2016. Additionally, the chain secured the title of "Best Pizza in America" in 2019.
Caliente has seven restaurants in Pittsburgh and also has locations in Acrisure Stadium, PPG Paints Arena, PNC Park and Penn State University.
