PITTSBURGH, PA — Continuing a holiday tradition, employees of a Pittsburgh pizzeria will give up several hours of their Thanksgiving festivities to prepare and give away free pies at their two locations.

Pizza Parma will be giving away a free large pizza to anyone between 10 a.m. and noon at both of its locations: Downtown on Liberty Avenue and in Shadyside on South Highland Avenue. The pizza shops have been doing this on Thanksgiving and Christmas for the past several years.

"As a family-owned and operated business, it’s important to us to ensure no one goes without food this holiday season," a post on the pizzeria's Facebook page stated.
