Pittsburgh Pizza Place Nationally Lauded
A Pittsburgh pizza place has been nationally recognized for one of its signature pies.
PITTSBURGH, PA — In celebration of the upcoming National Pizza Daony on Feb. 9 and Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11, People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals has released its list of the nation's top 10 vegan pizzas.
One of them is made in Pittsburgh - at Spak Brothers in Garfield. PETA touted the its picks for the restaurant's barbecue seitan pizza, which can be made with vegan cheese and comes loaded with seitan, red onion, fresh cilantro and barbecue sauce.
Spak Brothers will receive a framed certificate from PETA along with bragging rights.

Other winners include the Non Meat Lovers pizza at Slice of Vegas Pizza Kitchen & Bar in Las Vegas; the Pickle Back pizza at The Hop Craft Pizza & Beer in Richmond, VA and the Mackin' Out Pizza in New Brunswick, NJ.
