Pittsburgh Radio Personality's Restaurant Reopens
The popular eater has been closed for months because of staffing issues.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Lucha Street Tacos, a popular spot in Squirrel Hill, has reopened after being closed since October due to a staffing shortage. The fast-casual Tex-Mex eatery is owned by Marc "Bubba" Snider, the morning host on 100.7 Star Pittsburgh and local restaurant owner.
“I thought we would never reopen it, which really upset me since Squirrel Hill is the community where I was born and raised” Snider said. “I just never imagined it would take us two and a half months to find anyone who wanted a job. Then over Christmas we had to deal with frozen pipes as well. Add to that the city made us take our sign down.”
Lucha Street Tacos has reopened with a new menu and features three tacos for $10 daily.

“Times are tough for everyone financially right now. So I thought it was important to offer our delicious tacos at a price that was affordable for all of our guests everyday,” Snider said.
Lucha Street Tacos is located next to Mineo’s Pizza on Murray Avenue. Its first location located on Washington Pike in South Fayette opened in 2020, with the Squirrel Hill location opening in 2021.
