Pittsburgh Radio Station Shakes Up Morning Show

A Pittsburgh radio station has replaced a popular morning show host. Get the details here.

PITTSBURGH, PA —Katie Green is the new morning show host of the Pittsburgh area Froggy country music stations.

She replaces Frogman Frank, whose real name is Frank Lewis. He left the stations recently.

Green is being heard on Froggy Pittsburgh FM stations 94.9, 103.5 and 104.3. She is on the air from 5:30 a.m.-10 a.m.

The stations are owned by Forever Media, which also broadcasts throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and Delaware.

"I am a born and raised Pittsburgh girl, happy to be sharing mornings with you," Green states on the station's website.

"I married a baseball guy and lived in Bradenton, Durham, Nashville, Albuquerque, Ontario, and Ohio (just to name a few), but moved back to my hometown because you know you can move away, but once a yinzer, always a yinzer.

"I am obsessed with music and can’t sing a note or play an instrument, so I love being on the radio talking about music."
