Pittsburgh Restaurant Hit With Consumer Alert

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for All India restaurant on North Craig Street in Oakland for various violations.
A recent inspection found:
- Water leaking from an unknown source above the buffet line.
- Spinach paneer in the buffet line wasn't adequately warmed.
- Various meats and sauces in a cooling unit were found at temperatures between 57 and 62 degrees; they should have been stored at a temperature of 41 degrees or colder.
- Shelving throughout the kitchen was dirty and the kitchen hand washing sink was dirty.
- Large paddles for stirring and a large spoon were found in a dirty mop sink.
The restaurant remains open.
