Pittsburgh Restaurant Ranked Among Nation's 50 Best: New York Times

PITTSBURGH, PA — A Bloomfield has made the New York Times list of the of the 50 best restaurants in America for 2022.

Apteka, a vegetarian restaurant focused on central and eastern European fare, was the only Pittsburgh restaurant to make the list, and one of only three in Pennsylvania to do do so. The others are located in Philadelphia and West Chester.

"So much love and thanks to the incredible team of people who show up to make this happen with us everyday," a post on the restaurant's Facebook page stated.

"There’s a lot that goes into getting food on the table for every service, and everyone on staff puts so much effort and attention into each part. The work is a real grind- but the energy and good vibes from the crew is what keeps us afloat."
