Pittsburgh Severe Storms Threat Persists

PITTSBURGH, PA — After a round of heavy storms moved through portions of Western Pennsylvania on Sunday, more storms are expected today.
According to the National Weather Service, storms during the afternoon and evening will have the potential to produce damaging winds and large hail. In addition, storms will be capable of
producing heavy rainfall which could lead to flooding.
Today's high temperature will be near 80. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Expected rainfall amounts will be between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, with higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

It's going to be a wet start to the week, with a 70 percent chance of more showers and thunderstorms overnight.
As for Tuesday, pack your umbrella as there is a 100 percent chance of showers and storms. There's also a 100 percent chance of storms on Tuesday night.
