Pittsburgh Shooting Leaves Man, Teen Dead

The fatal shooting happened early Wednesday, city public safety officials said.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two men were killed early Wednesday in a shooting in the city's Hill District.

Shortly after 3 a.m., city police responded to the 2300 block of Webster Avenue for a 16-round ShotSpotter alert.

Officers first located Cameron Blue-Gray, 16, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A second victim, Robert Lee Freeman Jr., 33 was found with a gunshot wound to the head was located on Somers Street at Webster. Medics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Police have not initially identified any suspects.
