Pittsburgh, Southwestern PA Now Under A High Wind Warning
Find out here when the high winds are expected and what their expected maximum gusts could be.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Pittsburgh and all of Southwestern Pennsylvania from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Expect consistent southwest winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.
The weather service warns that damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

A High Wind Warning already was in effect for portions of Indiana, Westmoreland and Fayette counties. The watch now has been extended to include those entire three counties.
