Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting: Funerals Continue For Victims
Three more of the 11 victims of the Tree of Life synagogue massacre were laid to rest Tuesday.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Funerals were held Wednesday for three more victims of Saturday’s mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Squirrel Hill that left 11 people dead.
Services were held today for Joyce Fienberg, 75, of Oakland, a retired University of Pittsburgh researcher; Melvin Wax, 87, of Squirrel Hill, a retired accountant; and Irving Younger, 69, of Mt. Washington, a realtor and former head of a business organization.
Services were held Tuesday for brothers Cecil Rosenthal, 59, and David Rosenthal, 54, both of Squirrel Hill; Jerry Rabinowitz, 66, of Edgewood, a physician; and Daniel Stein, 71, of Squirrel Hill, a retiree and prominent member of the New Life congregation that worshipped in the synagogue.

Being laid to rest Thursday will be Sylvan Simon, 86, and his wife, Bernice Simon, 84, of Wilkinsburg. The funerals will conclude Friday with services for Richard Gottfried, 65, of Ross, a well-known North Hills dentist; Rose Mallinger, 97, of Squirrel Hill.
