Pittsburgh Thanksgiving Takeout Meals Don't Come Cheap
Care to have someone else cook your Turkey Day meal but still dine at home? Prepare to pay for the privilege.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Patch already has covered which Pittsburgh restaurants will be open on Thanksgiving if you desire to dine out for the holiday. But what if you want to enjoy the family atmosphere and football at home but still want someone else to do the cooking?
You'll likely need your credit card.
Though the menus are impressive, the prices are expensive at the following Pittsburgh restaurants offering takeout packages:

- Bistro To Go Café: Serving up to eight people, the meal provides three entrée choices: baked ham, roasted prime rib or lasagna. Customers must fill out Bistro’s order sheet and email it back to the restaurant. Orders are available for pick up on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 22 and 23, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 415 East Ohio St., North Side.
- fl.2 Modern American: The restaurant in the Fairmont Pittsburgh hotel offers Thanksgiving meals a la carte. Starting at $122, families get the chance to pick between roasted turkey or honey-glazed ham for an entrée. Choose sides for $20 that serve four to six people, such as mashed potatoes, stuffing and green bean casserole. There also are soups, salads, rolls and desserts. Orders must be placed by Nov. 19 on the Thanksgiving Turkey To-Go order form, and patrons must pick up meals on Nov. 23 or 24 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. 510 Market St Floor 2, Downtown.
- Braddock’s Rebellion: Located in the Renaissance Hotel, the restaurant offers a Thanksgiving dinner that serves six people. You get to enjoy a whole herb, dry-brined roasted turkey with a choice of three types of salad: tossed, Caesar and roasted beet for $168. It comes with also three options for potatoes: roasted sweet potatoes, buttermilk mashed potatoes or herb-roasted red potatoes. In addition to the turkey and sides, Braddock’s Rebellion also plans to offer Herb & Asiago Cheese Stuffing and several dessert options. Customers must complete the to-go order form by Nov. 18; meals are available for pickup on Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 107 6th St., Downtown.
- Grand Concourse: The Thanksgiving to-go menu serves up to 12 people. Starting at $325, their menu includes a 20-pound whole turkey, whipped potatoes, homemade gravy, cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, candied sweet potatoes, marinated vegetable salad, a roasted vegetable medley, house-made bread, pumpkin pie and pecan pie. Online orders must be placed by Nov. 20. Pickup is on Nov. 23 between 5 and 9 p.m. and on Thanksgiving, Nov. 24, between 9 and 11 a.m. 100 W. Station Square Dr., Station Square.
- Fogo de Chão: The Brazilian steakhouse will offer its Thanksgiving to-go menu serving upto 10 people. Starting at $310, the menu features two fire-roasted meat options (such as turkey, chicken and sirloin), sweet potato casserole, Brazilian sausage and apple dressing, sautéed asparagus, cranberry relish, and Pão de queijo. Online orders must be placed by Nov. 15. Meals must be picked up by 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 24. 525 Smithfield St, Downtown.
