Pittsburgh TV News Anchor Gives Birth To Baby

A blessed event occurred over the weekend for the news anchor and her husband.

PITTSBURGH, PA — WTAE-TV news anchor Kelly Sasso and her husband became the proud parents of a baby boy over the weekend, the station announced Monday.

Ayven Perry Sasso was born on Saturday afternoon. Both mom and baby are doing well, the station reported.

Sasso co-anchors the 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscast weekdays on Pittsburgh’s Action News 4.
She is a western Pennsylvania native, having grown up in Greensburg and joined WTAE in 2017.

Before WTAE, Sasso served 40/29 News, the Hearst Television station in Fayetteville, Ark. in multiple positions but most notably as a prime-time anchor. During her time at 40/29 News, she earned several AP awards for special projects and newscasts.
