PITTSBURGH, PA — WTAE-TV has bolstered its newscast sports staff with the addition of Ashley Liotus, a Pittsburgh native and Baldwin High School graduate. Liotus, who has been working as a freelancer for the station, will join Andrew Stockey on the sports team and will be a reporter and weekend anchor.

Liotus announced the move on social media.

"If you had asked me 10 years ago what my dream job was, I would have told you 'covering the teams in my hometown',” Liotus stated in a Facebook post. "While I’ve been doing that the past 2 years, I’m happy to officially sign on with WTAE — the station I grew up watching in the town where I fell in love with sports."
