PITTSBURGH, PA —Transition continues to occur at WTAE-TV.
Michelle Wright retired in February from her longtime job in the station's morning anchor role. WTAE elevated morning traffic reporter and noon newscast anchor Elena LaQuatra to succeed her.
That left a traffic reporter and news anchor opening at the station and WTAE officially has filled it. Weekend anchor Lily Coleman will fill LaQuatra's shoes.

"Happy to finally share that I am joining the morning team to bring you traffic updates each and every morning," Coleman stated in a Facebook post.
"I will also anchor the noon newscast each day. I am so excited for this next chapter... but I am even more excited to be a part of this team. When I say "I'm just happy to be here" -- I mean it. This is a job and a city that I love so much and I am just so blessed to be here."
