Pittsburgh Valentine's Day 2018: Romantic Dinner Options

PITTSBURGH, PA - Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and you don't want to be stuck scrambling to find a place to take that special someone for a romantic dinner week, do you? Restaurants around town already are taking reservations for the big day and some are offering special dining options on Open Table.

Check back as the big day approaches as this list will be updated:

• Legume, 214 North Craig St. Oakland: A fixed price and a la carte menu will be available on Valentine’s Day, including an optional wine pairing.

• Spork, 5430 Penn Ave., East Liberty: Offering a special Valentine's Day prix fixe menu.

• Eddie Merlot’s, 444 Liberty Ave., Downtown: Surprise your special someone with 12 red roses and a half-bottle (735 ml) of Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Reserve for $99. Enjoy Arctic Char Del Mar or an 8-ounce bone-in filet for $35.95 each, 8-ounce bone-in filet Del Mar for $45.95, New Zealand king salmon for $39.95, 16-ounce bone-in filet and 10-ounce lobster tail, $99.95.

• Roost- Revel + Roost, 242 Forbes Ave. Downtown: Enjoy a romantic dinner with a special prix fixe menu overlooking Market Square. Snap cute couple photos in the restaurant photo booth, complete with props. Feb. 10-17.

• Braddock’s American Brasserie, 107 Sixth St., Downtown: Offering a prix fixe, 4-course menu at $120.00 per couple, Feb. 9-14.

• The Terrace Room, 530 William Penn Place, Downtown: Offering a prix fixe menu each evening Feb. 14-17, with the chef's most romantic dishes for $59 per person (plus tax & gratuity).

• Superior Motors, 1211 Braddock Ave., Braddock: Celebrate Valentine's Day with dinner and a show. The restaurant’s in-house theatre company, Barebones Productions, will be doing a performance on the in-house stage. Show is at 8 p.m., reservations at 6:00 recommended. Tickets at barebonesproductions.com; get 10 percent off your meal with the ticket stub.

• Ditka’s Restaurant, One Robinson Plaza, Robinson:The Valentine's Day package includes a champagne toast, Mike's Salad or Crab Bisque.For dinner you select from ora king salmon, twin filet and crab cakes, or filet mignon, in addition to sharing triple layer chocolate cake, for $100 per couple. A la carte options also available.

• Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, 7300 Cranberry Springs Drive, Cranberry: Enjoy a special lunch and dinner menu for Valentine's Day featuring seasonally inspired dishes. Regular menu will also be available.
