Pittsburgh Winter Storm: Latest Snow, Wind Predictions
The storm is expected to impact Pittsburgh beginning overnight.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The National Weather Service predicts anywhere from one to four inches of snow will occur during the storm about to hit Western Pennsylvania. Winds will gust as high as 35 mph.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
State College-based AccuWeather is calling for one to three inches of snow, with an additional inch or two possible on Thursday. The Weather Channel predicts the area will receive a maximum of two inches during the advisory period.

Ahead of snowy conditions and cold temperatures across much of the state, PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advise motorists to avoid unnecessary travel during the storm.
