Pittsburgh Winter Weather Advisory Issued; Snow, Ice On Way

The National Weather Service once again has reaffirmed that winter isn't quite over yet for Pittsburgh.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Pittsburgh and all of southwestern Pennsylvania from midnight tonight until 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

Snow could accumulate up to an inch and could be accompanied by a light glaze of ice.

The weather service warned that the weather could cause difficulties during the Wednesday morning commute.

On the bright side, the weather threat will be short-lived. Temperatures are expected to rise significantly on Wednesday, with highs approaching 70.
