Pittsburgh Woman Kidnapped, Blindfolded, Pistol-Whipped
A Pittsburgh woman was the victim of a kidnapping that turned violent, police said.
PITTSBURGH, PA — An arrest warrant has been issued for one of the suspects who allegedly kidnapped, blindfolded and pistol-whipped a woman Thursday night.
Police are searching for Dontae Andre Ra Stevens, 19, of Wilkinsburg.
Authorities said the victim told them that Stevens is a Pittsburgh rapper and that she has cut his hair in the past. According to court documents, the victim had gone to a home on Clark Street in Wilkinsburg for another haircut, but when she arrived Stevens and another man pulled guns on her, pistol-whipped her around 10 times and demanded she open a cash app on her phone.

According to police, the victim was held blindfolded and held at gunpoint for hours while the suspects demanded payments from the victim and her boyfriend.
She then was taken in her own vehicle to a gas station on Ardmore Boulevard. When one of the suspects got out of the car to go into the store, the victim was able to escape from the vehicle and ran while screaming for help.

Police later recovered the victim’s Kia in the 1300 block of Maple Way.
An arrest warrant was issued for Stevens on the charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping, robbery, robbery of a motor vehicle, persons not to possess a firearm, theft by unlawful taking and terroristic threats.
It's unclear what charges the other suspect will face.
