Pittsburgh Woman Runs Over Fiance With Car: Police

A Pittsburgh woman is in jail after being accused of hitting her fiance with a car following an argument.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A woman allegedly ran over her fiancee after an argument and critically injured him, police said.

Tina McAfee, 44, faces charges of aggravated assault, criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault by vehicle and reckless driving. She currently is housed in the Allegheny County Jail.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials, police were called to the 100 block of Knox Avenue in Knoxville Friday. When they arrived, they found a woman standing outside of a wrecked vehicle.

Officers than found an injured man nearby on Grape Street. A person with the victim told police he had been struck by the woman's vehicle after a dispute with him.

He was taken to an area hospital.
