Pittsburgh Zoo Lynx Tests Positive For COVID-19

A Canada lynx has become the latest animal at the zoo to contract the coronavirus.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A Canada lynx at the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium tested positive for COVID-19. The feline is expected to make a full recovery.

"The cat began displaying clinical signs including occasional coughing, but overall symptoms have been mild," a release from the zoo stated Tuesday.

The zoo's lynx are housed near the tigers, who of which recently tested positive for the virus. Both have made full recoveries.
