Police Present At Pittsburgh High School After Online Threat
Security at the school will be increased for the remainder of the week.
PITTSBURGH, PA - Pittsburgh police will be on hand at Taylor Allderdice High School in Squirrel Hill Thursday and Friday following an unspecified threat made on social media. Police will monitor arrival, dismissal and activities throughout the day, a Pittsburgh Public Schools spokesperson told KDKA-TV.
School district police also will patrol the school.
The school district did not provide details on the threat, which KDKA said reportedly stems from a fight involving a student at a nearby CoGo’s.
