Police Probe Fatal Pittsburgh Shooting
A man was shot to death early Sunday in the city's Carrick neighborhood.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are investigating the shooting death of a man early Sunday in Carrick.
Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1900 block of Brownsville Road around 1:30 a.m. Arriving units found a 28-year-old man on an outside porch with gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses described an altercation before the shooting between the victim and a man who fled the scene.
