Police Searching For Pittsburgh Airsoft Gun Assaults Suspects
Two men were in a vehicle firing the gun in a Pittsburgh neighborhood.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are searching for two men after receiving multiple reports of aggravated assault involving an airsoft gun in Oakland early Friday.
The incidents occurred around 1 a.m. in the areas of 120 block of Ruskin Avenue, Forbes Avenue and Meyran Avenue, and the 4700 block of Fifth Avenue. No serious injuries were reported.
The suspects were in a vehicle wearing black ski masks, and the passenger was firing a black and orange airsoft gun. An airsoft gun is a realistic-looking replica weapon that shoots small round plastic BBs using air pressure.

The vehicle was described as a Toyota Solara with two doors and a sunroof, with Pennsylvania license plate LYX 3993.
Police do not believe Friday's incident is not related to reports Wednesday of aggravated assaults committed by someone firing a pellet gun from a vehicle. Those incidents occurred in the areas of Fifth Avenue and Atwood Street, the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue and the 3990 block of Fifth Avenue.
