PITTSBURGH, PA — A national restaurant company is bidding farewell to one of its signature brands, and that will result in the closure of the brand's lone Pittsburgh location.

Darden Restaurants announced Tuesday that it is ridding itself of its Caribbean-themed Bahama Breeze eateries. Of the chain's 28 restaurants across the country, 14 will permanently close and 14 will be converted into other Darden brands.

The Bahama Breeze on Robinson Center Drive in Robinson will be among the 14 closures. It is expected to continue operating through April 5.
