PITTSBURGH, PA — After five years, Bier's Pub and War Street Brewery on the North Side is closing, its owners announced on Facebook.

"While this is a bittersweet decision, and we will miss being a part of a truly vibrant neighborhood, we look forward to the adventures that lie ahead of us," the post stated.

Replacing Bier's on Western Avenue will be Tony's Pub. Many of the Bier's staff will be working at the new place. War Streets Brewery will also continue to live on with new owners and in a new location; Biers said the new owners will make the official announcement soon.
