Popular Pittsburgh News Anchor Leaving Town
A Pittsburgh TV reporter and anchor is heading elsewhere.
PITTSBURGH, PA — KDKA-TV reporter and news anchor Bryant Reed is departing the station. Reed announced the move Thursday on Twitter.
"Before my move here, I had family and friends here in Pittsburgh, but in a year and a half that family and my friends have grown tremendously," Reed stated. "I've been able to tell stories that have opened my eyes and experienced joy, happiness and sadness as one with the Pittsburgh community.
"I'll miss the craziness of Steelers games and Picklesburgh and the serenity of all the hidden gems the city has to offer. But more than anything, I'll miss my 93-year-old grandmother, who has been the best roommate I've ever had."
