Popular Restaurant At The Waterfront To Be Razed
The restaurant will be demolished to make way for apartments, according to a report.

PITTSBURGH, PA - A restaurant at The Waterfront is slated to meet the wrecking ball to help clear space for a new 251-unit apartment building in the popular restaurant-retail-residential complex.
The new apartments will be built on property that includes the current Mitchell's Fish Market and the former Fuddruckers, the Pittsburgh Business Times reported. The building will rise along prime riverfront land in Homestead and West Homestead.
Construction is slated to begin next spring and the building is expected to be open by 2022.

It's not clear whether Mitchell's will relocate to a different location in The Waterfront. The popular eatery has been there since shortly after the complex opened in 1999.
