Port Authority Bridge In Pittsburgh Closed After Shifting
South Busway service in Pittsburgh is being detoured after a disturbing discovery was found regarding a Port Authority bridge.

PITTSBURGH, PA —A Port Authority-owned and maintained bridge that carries the South Busway over Saw Mill Run Boulevard in Mt. Washington will remain closed indefinitely after engineers discovered a portion of the span has shifted.
Until further notice, Red Line service is detouring over the Blue-Silver Line from Willow Station to Downtown. A rail shuttle is operating from Overbrook Junction to Potomac Station. Bus shuttles are operating between Potomac Station and Station Square.
Detour information for the Saw Mill Run Boulevard bridge closure, including Red Line rail and bus shuttle details, and temporary stops for routes 39/41/Y1/Y45/Y46/Y47/Y49,is now available online.
