PITTSBURGH, PA — Prantl's Bakery, best known for its famous burnt almond torte, is quintessentially Pittsburgh. So are the Steelers, despite the team's pathetic performances in recent weeks.

That's why Prantl's will begin offering the "Terrible Torte" beginning Friday.

The Terrible Torte, which will have a limited supply, is made of torte cake with black and yellow "jimmies" baked in and filled with vanilla pastry cream. The cake is topped with our famous buttercream icing and covered with Prantl's signature toasted almonds and black-and-yellow "jimmies."
