PA Shoppers To Pay Less For Some Super Bowl Snacks
PepsiCo is reducing prices on many of the nation's favorite snack chips in advance of the Big Game.
PENNSYLVANIA — No matter whether you're rooting for the Seattle Seahawks or the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX on Sunday, you will be able to snack more inexpensively while your cheer on your preferred team.
The manufacturer of some of the favorite snacks on the grocery shelves - such as Lay's, Dopritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, Munchos, Funyuns and others - is rolling back prices on those products by nearly 15 percent.
PepsiCo announced that the new suggested retail prices began rolling out across the country this week and should be in place in time for the Big Game. Because retailers ultimately set prices, shoppers could see even more significant savings depending on the store, PepsiCo officials said.

“We’ve spent the past year listening closely to consumers, and they’ve told us they’re feeling the strain,” Rachel Ferdinando, PepsiCo Foods U.S. CEO said in a statement. “Lowering the suggested retail price reflects our commitment to help reduce the pressure where we can. People shouldn’t have to choose between great taste and staying within their budget.”
Alongside the new suggested retail prices, PepsiCo is removing artificial flavors and colors from Lay’s and Tostitos, and making packaging updates aligned with evolving consumer preferences.
