Prisoner Hits Western PA Corrections Officer With Human Waste

Criminal charges have been filed after a state prison corrections officer was hit in the face with human waste.

GREENE COUNTY, PA — An inmate at the Green County Prison in Western Pennsylvania is facing charges after hitting a corrections officer in the face with a cup containing hazardous waste.

Pennsylvania State Police responded to the prison on Jan. 23 after Maurice Lamar Greene, 40, of Philadelphia, filled a cup with urine and feces from the toilet of his jail cell and threw it into the female corrections officer's face.

During an interview with police, Greene admitted to committing the crime, police said.

He has been charged with aggravated assault.
