PITTSBURGH, PA - There was no ease involved in replacing a landmark neighborhood bar and restaurant. When the more upscale eatery Ease replaced Dunning's Grill in 2015 after a 32-year run on South Braddock Avenue in 2015, it had difficulty drawing the customers that its predecessor had.

Owner Jimmy Brown raised the white flag on Ease in June, but he still believes in the space. He has spent the past several months renovating the interior and exterior and the place will reopen soon as the Frick Park Tavern.

The tavern is expected to open within weeks, along with another new addition to Regent Square: the latest Dive Bar & Grille, which will open on South Braddock in the space long occupied by Ryan's Pub.

The Frick Park Tavern already has a Facebook page and Brown is keeping the neighborhood apprised of his progress as the opening day draws closer.
