Ringo Starr Returning To Pittsburgh

The former Beatles drummer and his All-Star Band will perform here for the first time since 2015.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Ringo Starr will make his first Pittsburgh appearance in three years this fall. The legendary Beatles drummer and his All-Starr Band will perform at Heinz Hall on Sept. 19.

Pittsburgh was one of 21 North American Starr tour dates announced Friday.

“There is no greater joy for me than playing great music with great musicians,” Starr said in a statement. “Every night we get to play for all those loving people and it makes the hassle of touring worth it. It is a peace and love fest.”

The latest version of the All-Starr Band includes Colin Hay of Men at Work, Steve Lukather of Toto, Gregg Rolie of Santana and Journey and Graham Gouldman of 10cc. The band also includes Warren Ham on percussion and sax and Gregg Bissonette on drums.

Ticket details were not immediately announced.
