MONROEVILLE, PA - Rite Aid has opened a drive-thru coronavirus testing site at its store on William Penn Highway. Overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists, the sites will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and use self-swab nasal testing.

The site, one of four in Pennsylvania that the pharmacy chain is opening this week in Pennsylvania, is expected to be able to conduct about 200 tests a day.

Testing is free to patients meeting Centers for Disease Control and Prevention criteria and who pre-register at riteaid.com. Tests are conducted in the store parking lot, and Rite Aid has partnered with Verily and its Baseline COVID-19 to provide screening, scheduling and return of results to patients.
