Rivers Casino Worker Tests Positive For Coronavirus
The news comes barely a week after the North Shore casino reopened.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Although a Rivers Casino employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, the casino insists that safety protocols established since the casino reopened are working as intended.
"In addition to property-wide sanitizing, all team members have worn face coverings since the casino reopened, and team members reporting any symptoms of a temperature above 100.4 degrees must get tested before returning to work," casino officials said in a release.
The casino did not indicate in which part of the casino the employee worked.
