Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer Postpones Upcoming Pittsburgh Shows
One of rock's most legendary performers will not take the stage in Pittsburgh as planned next week.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Bruce Springsteen has postponed his two Pittsburgh concerts scheduled for next week and his remaining September shows due to illness.
Springsteen and the E Street Band had been scheduled to take the state at PPG Paints Arena on Sept 12 and 14.
Springsteen, 73, announced on Wednesday that the shows had to be postponed because he is being treated for peptic ulcer disease symptoms.

According to the Mayo Clinic, peptic ulcers are open sores that develop on the inside lining of the>
stomach and the upper portion of the small intestine. The most common symptom of a peptic ulcer is stomach pain.

“We’re heartbroken to have to postpone these shows,” Springsteen said in a tweet Wednesday night. “We’ll be back to pick up these shows and then some. Thank you for your understanding.”
