Ross Park Mall, South Hills Village To Close For Thanksgiving
Grove City Premium Outlets also won't open for the holiday.

WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA — Three major shopping malls have announced they will not open for Thanksgiving. Ross Park Mall, South Hills and Grover City Outlets will be closed for the holiday.
Simon Properties, which owns all three, asaid that none of its retail complexes will open on the holiday.
Simon also closed its properties on Thanksgiving last year, alluding to "challenging times," in a likely reference to the pandemic. Simon malls previously had been open that day.

With vaccinations readily available for months, more people have returned to malls to shop, but Simon decided to close theirs for a second consecutive year. The company, the country's largest mall owner, offered no explanation for its decision this year.
