Ross Strip Mall Shooting Suspect Arrested
Allegheny County sheriff's deputies arrested the man accused of opening fire Tuesday night in a North Hills Village parking lot.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A man wanted in connection with a Tuesday shooting incident at the North Hills Village strip mall in Ross was arrested Thursday in Downtown Pittsburgh.
The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office said that Kenneth Sharp-Haymon, 21, of Wilkinsburg was taken into custody by deputies who spotted a vehicle associated with the suspect and initiated a traffic stop on First Avenue.
Sharp-Haymon is accused of opening fire on a car in the mall parking lot near Target. His former girlfriend was in the vehicle along with others.

Police said the car was struck by at least six bullets. No one was shot, but one of the occupants suffered various cuts from broken glass from a window that was shot out.
Following the arrest, Sharp-Haymon was placed in the custody of Ross Township detectives. He is charged with five counts each of criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person, as well as two firearms violations.
